Even though it was obvious she has some health challenges, late Onyeka Onwenu insisted on singing some of her iconic songs in honour of the Chairman of Emzor Pharmaceuticals, Chief (Mrs) Stella Okoli, reports thegazellenews.com

Inside sources at the birthday party told this medium that she came to the venue and was cheerful and exchanging banters with some of the high profile guests at the event.

She told the gathering that Mrs Okoli was her sister hence she had to honour her even though she got the invitation late.

The late Songstress was given the microphone to perform and the guests were kept on the edge of their seats as she sang three of her best singles including the iconic ‘One Love’ song.

“She sang and dance and she was given a standing ovation and she went to her seat,” multiple sources who attended the party told thegazellenews.com

After the performance, she went to her seat and few minutes later, confusion set in as she allegedly slumped on her chair.

There was a big battle to revive her and an ambulance was eventually called in.

Not few people who attended believed that she would be revived hence it was shock to some attendees at the event who spoke to thegazellenews.com that she was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital
