The Head of Department of Microbiology at the Lagos State University, Dr Abdul Azeez Anjorin is the new President of the Lagos State University Muslim Alumni Association (LASUMA), reports thegazellenews.com
Dr Anjorin was chosen as the new President during a selection process by the Shuraah Committee set up to constitute the new executive council for the association.
Speaking after his inauguration, Dr Anjorin expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah and his colleagues for finding him worthy of leading the association, thegazellenews.com reports further.
He commended his predecessor for laying a solid foundation for him to build on, assuring that he would not only built solid structure on the foundation but would also improve on the achievements of his predecessor.
