Lagos State University will hold a press conference on Wednesday, 12 August, 2026, ahead of its joint 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremonies, according to a notice issued by the institution.
The press briefing, scheduled for 10:00am, will take place at the Senate Chamber, First Floor, Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, on the university’s main campus in Ojo, Lagos. The notice indicated that the event is strictly by invitation.
By combining two convocation ceremonies into one press briefing, the university signals plans for a joint graduation exercise honouring two sets of graduating students in a single event, a development expected to draw attention from parents, alumni and the media as the institution prepares to formally address journalists on the arrangements.
