The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has appointed the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Lawal Pedro, SAN, as the Chairman of the party’s Appeal Committee for the just concluded primary election for the local government elections, reports thegazellenews.com
Members of the Appeal Committee were inaugurated at the party’s secretariat at Ikeja on Monday, 12 May, 2025.

Other members of the Appeal Committee are: former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt Honourable Jokotola Pelumi; former member of the state Assembly and two-time Secretary of the party in the state, Honourable Lanre Ogunyemi; Otunba Abiodun Olufowobi who will serve as the Secretary of Committee; the state Secretary of the party, Jide Jokomba; and Chief Chukwudi Adiukwu.
There have been complaints and protests over the conduct of the primary elections which took place on Saturday, 10 May, 2025.

“We hereby advise discontented aspirants to submit their appeals to the committee not later than 12noon on Tuesday, 13 May, 2025,” Mogaji Oluseye Oladejo, state Publicity Secretary of the party said via a statement on Monday, 12 May, 2025.
