Kebbi state chapter of National council of women societies ( NCWS) on Friday share the joy of maga girls rescue with Kebbi first lady,Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris.

The Kebbi state president of the council,Hajia Hadiza Muhammed Kola, in a statement said that the first lady’s motherly role cannot be ignored therefore the council deems it proper to celebrate with her over the successful rescue of the 24 four healthy girls, “as a mother the first lady organised prayers for the safe return of maga girls and she has supported her husband during the agonizing period”.
Gimbiyar Kola noted that the struggle to ensure unhindered access to education to all girls in both urban and rural areas is the council’s uncompromising stand saying a threat to women educational pursuit is a threat to national progress and development.
She revealed that federal government of Nigeria has a constitutional duty to protect every girl child to ensure they learn in schools under a peaceful atmosphere deviod of panic and fear as fear will affect their mental health and discourage them from pursuing their educational careers
“We commend President Tinubu and his wife senator Remi Tinubu for their crucial role in the safe return of the girls no doubt they have demonstrated fatherly and motherly role.
“At NCWS, we will monitor developments as it affects women and the girl child at all levels particularly those in bandits prone villages, while praying fervently for permanent peace in the country, we urge critical stakeholders on security to work round the clock to safeguard lives and property of Nigerians Maga Girls rescue with Kebbi First Lady, Hajia Zainab Nasare Nasir Idris.
