A Lagos State High Court presided over by Justice Alexander Owoeye on Thursday, 19 June, 2025 sentenced one Olukeye Adedayo Olalekan to a cumulative 76 years in prison after finding him guilty of multiple offences including child pornography, cyberstalking, money laundering, and fraud.
Olalekan was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on an 18-count charge, and his conviction followed conclusive evidence presented by the prosecution.

Justice Owoeye held that the EFCC had proven beyond reasonable doubt that the defendant engaged in the alleged criminal acts.
According to the EFCC, Olalekan exploited the Instagram platform by creating a group titled “Expose Janjua Robin Nudes,” which he used to distribute explicit materials involving minors.
One of the charges stated that on February 13, 2023, within Lagos jurisdiction, Olalekan, also known by aliases hrm87, charlotte708, and harlilott_716, intentionally used Instagram to create a group aimed at circulating child pornography, thereby violating sections of the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, Etc.) Act, 2015.
Justice Owoeye, who found Olalekan guilty on all 18 counts, also imposed a two-year sentence each on counts one through four relating to procuring and distributing child pornography, and cyberstalking.
For counts five to fourteen, which involved the retention and concealment of proceeds from fraud, the judge imposed four years per count, with no option of fine.
On counts fifteen through eighteen, relating to obtaining property under false pretences, Olalekan received a sentence of seven years imprisonment per count, also without the option of fine.
