Nafisa Abdullah Aminu, 17-year-old student from Yobe State, Nigeria, was crowned the world champion in English language proficiency at the prestigious 2025 TeenEagle Global Finals held in London, United Kingdom.
Representing Nigeria through the Nigerian Tulip International College (NTIC), Yobe, Nafisa triumphed over more than 20,000 participants from 69 countries, including students from renowned English-speaking nations like the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, etc.

Her exceptional performance at the global competition has not only brought pride to her school and state but has also positioned Nigeria at the forefront of academic excellence in English language skills on the international stage.
