The Miyatti Allah Kautal Hore, Bauchi State Council, has appealed to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the continued detention of the organisation’s National Leader, Alhaji Bello Bodejo.
The association is calling on the President to use his office to facilitate Bodejo’s release, or ensure that due process is followed if there are legal grounds for his continued detention.
The state Chairman of Miyatti Allah Kautal Hore, Alhaji Sale Garbu, who made the appeal during a press conference held yesterday in Bauchi, expressed concern over what he described as the prolonged detention of their National Leader without being brought before a court of law, saying the situation has raised concerns among members of the organisation.
He also expressed worry about the condition of Bodejo’s family, who, according to him, have been affected by his continued absence.

The State Chairman maintained that Bello Bodejo has made contributions towards promoting peace and security in the country, particularly through his involvement in efforts aimed at addressing challenges affecting communities.
Alhaji Sale Garbu therefore appealed to President Tinubu to look into the matter and take appropriate steps towards resolving the situation.
He also called on the Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, to intervene in the matter and support efforts to secure the release of Bodejo in good health.
The Miyatti Allah Kautal Hore Bauchi State Chairman further disclosed that the association would not support any candidate of any political party until their National Leader is released.
He said the position was based on the organisation’s concern over the continued detention of its leader and its desire to see the matter resolved.

Earlier in his remarks, the State Secretary of Miyatti Allah Kautal Hore, Sulaiman Shehu, appealed to traditional rulers across the country to use their positions and influence to intervene in the matter.
Sulaiman Shehu urged the traditional institutions to engage relevant authorities and contribute towards finding a peaceful and lawful resolution to the situation.
The association also appealed to all relevant stakeholders, including government authorities and community leaders, to give attention to the matter in the interest of peace, justice and the wellbeing of Bodejo’s family.
