The traditional ruler of Aguda in Ojodu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akeem Agbaosi Ewe Obaja I has described the representative of Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke as a worthy representative who has committed himself to the improvement of residents of his constituency, reports thegazellenews.com

The traditional ruler spoke on Sunday, 27 October 2024 during the grand finale of the 3-day free medical check-up programme facilitated by Honourable Faleke for residents of the constituency.

The three-day event kicked off on Friday, 25 October 2024 at the palace of the Onigbongbo monarch for Onigbongbo LCDA residents. It moved to Ikeja the following day for residents of Ikeja Local Government and berthed finally at the palace of the Aguda monarch on Sunday, 27 October 2024 for residents of Ojodu LCDA.

Oba Agbaosi who spoke after undergoing the routine medical check, stated that Faleke has proved himself over and over to the people of the Ikeja Federal Constituency that he is a worthy representative of his people.

“He’s our worthy representative and we will continue to pray for him. We pray that Almighty God continues to strengthen him,” he said.

The Chairman of the Ojodu LCDA chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaja Olusola Kokumo, described Faleke as God-sent to the people of Ikeja.

“He is a wonderful representative. A man of his word and a man of action. His performance speaks for him and we are happy and proud to have him as our representative,” she said. 

Thousands of residents benefitted from the programme, they went through medical checks for various diseases and were given complimentary drugs for their ailments free. They also went home with free 5kg of rice and garri.
