The Vice Chairman of the Mosan-Okunola Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Akintola Falade (OMOBA), has hosted an interfaith prayer bringing together religious leaders, community leaders and All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders from across Alimoso Federal Constituency, reports thegazellenews.com
Thegazellenews.com reports further that the inter-faith prayer took place on Independence Day at Mosan community.
Tagged “Face of Alimosho: Renewed Hope 2027 for KOH-PBAT,” the event was also held to commemorate Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary and to seek divine guidance, protection and wisdom for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Lagos State APC governorship candidate Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, his running mate, Hon. Damilola Sonayon-James, and other APC candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The gathering also provided an opportunity for party members and community stakeholders to reaffirm their commitment to unity, peaceful political participation, and the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Falade stressed the importance of coming together in prayer for the progress and stability of Nigeria, as well as for the political process ahead of the 2027 elections.

According to him, seeking divine intervention remained important as the country continued on its path of development. He noted that collective prayers could serve as a source of guidance, unity and hope for the nation.
He expressed appreciation to the religious leaders, political stakeholders, community leaders and other participants for honouring the invitation, while extending greetings to political leaders and stakeholders across Alimosho.

Falade also reaffirmed his commitment to the well-being and development of the people of Mosan-Okunola, assuring residents that he would continue to play his part in advancing the interests of the community.
As a member of the APC, he further stated his commitment to participating in the party’s activities leading to the 2027 general elections and supporting its candidates, while expressing confidence in their capacity to discharge their responsibilities if elected.
The interfaith prayer featured prayers and goodwill messages from participating clerics and stakeholders, with emphasis on peace, divine guidance, protection for the nation’s leaders, and a successful and peaceful electoral process.
The event ended with messages of encouragement from various stakeholders, reinforcing the importance of unity, peaceful coexistence, and collective responsibility in building a better Lagos and Nigeria.
