Nollywood Actor Rotimi Salami, has given full details of how he met his wife, Jumoke, reports thegazellenews.com
Salami stated that he met his wife on the set of the popular soap opera ‘Dear Mother’.
In the interview with Alujo FM, the popular actor explained that his wife is also a trained actress who studied Theater Arts at the University of Lagos.
However, he shared that they both agreed she would put her own acting career on hold to focus on supporting their family.
He also spoke lovingly about his wife, revealing that he calls her his “Aboki,” which means “my friend.” He emphasized that this deep friendship is the solid foundation of their happy and long lasting marriage.
In his words: “I met her on the set of Dear Mother. She was acting, yes. She is actually a thespian; she even studied that in school at UNILAG. She has not been acting because we agreed on that. I call her ‘Aboki,’ which means my friend. She is my friend, the only person I can be with, actually.”
