Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District at the Nigerian Senate has dared the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio to sue her over her recent allegations of assassination attempt on her she made against him.

Akpoti-Uduaghan had recently at her homecoming/Sallah rally alleged that the Senate President had allegedly reached out to the governor of Kogi State, Usman Ododo to ensure that she is killed once she enters the state.

According to the Senator, the Governor was directed by Akpabio to ensure that he does not carry out the deed in Abuja but in Kogi State.

She added that when Ododo informed the Senate President that it would be difficult to recall or assassinate her, he decided to approach the former Governor of the state, Yahaya Bello.

“But Akpabio was not satisfied; he then called for Yahaya Bello. It was Senator Asuquo who drove Yahaya Bello to the Hiltons. I was informed.

“The meeting was in two folds; he told him to commence my recall. He was going to fund it. Of course, money changed hands that day. The second thing was that he should kill me. Akpabio told Yahaya Bello to kill me,” Akpoti-Uduaghan had claimed.

However, when asked by the host of Channels Television’s Politics Today on the legal implication of her allegation against the Senate President, Akpoti-Uduaghan said Akpabio is free to sue her.

“I am hearing that the Senate President wants to sue me for that, I will tell him to go ahead. We will meet and cross that bridge,” she said on TV.
