Kebbi state chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has saluted the courage and resilience of Nigerian youth amid security and unemployment challenges experienced in 2025.

Engineer Ahmed Rufai Khalifa, in his new message to Kebbi youths said that the new year embodies lofty plans and execution of programmes that would guarantee youth survival across gender in the country saying their sacrifice for peace and nation building will not go in vain.
“Nigerian youth have endured insecurity in different parts of the country and massive unemployment in the past year but still remained peaceful therefore the time is now to for government to improve their lot by creating ways and means of decent survival,” he said.

Khalifa noted the contribution of Kebbi state Governor, Dr Nasir Idris in youth engagements through political appointments , agriculture and hand trades regardless of political affiliation.
The youth chief also admonished Tinubu led government to use it the new year to improve on what the federal government is doing in terms of youth empowerments through so many existing youth related programmes.
“We appreciate the president and the minister of youth for their contributions to the survival of youth, but we demand that politicians should hands off social interventions programs designed for youth to enable youth in both urban and rural areas to benefit,” he said.
While felicitating Nigerian youth on the occasion of new year, he reaffirmed his commitments to peace,unity and justice for youth across Kebbi state and Nigeria.
