The National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kolade Alabi, has expressed sadness over the death of the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area, Rivers State, David Rogers Irimagha.
The Gazelle News.com recalled that Irimagha died in his sleep.
Alabi, who doubles as Chairman of the Conference of Local Governments and Local Council Development Area, (CONFERENCE 57) in Lagos state, said the death of a bright soul is terribly tragic and a big blow to the ALGON family.
He condoled with the families of the deceased.
“My heartiest sympathy goes to the family. Today, your grief has touched us all. May Almighty God give the families of the late Irimagha abiding peace and comfort them, so that they might have the strength to bear this loss.
“My deepest condolences to you all; nothing can be compared with your loss today. I am deeply saddened to hear this because the loss is irrecoverable, no doubt. But you have to find solace in knowing that God has perfect plans for everyone in this world.
“During this heavy moment, one thing you should have more than anything else is patience. Keep faith in God and know that time heals everything.
May God take care of you during this tough time,” he said.
