The incumbent Chairman of Ijede Local Council Development Area, Alhaji Fathi Salisu has withdrawn from the race, The Gazelle News.com can exclusively reports.
This medium learnt that the incumbent chairman who had collected the nomination form and was successful during the screening exercise, withdrew early Saturday, 29 May, 2021 before the commencement of the primary.
The Gazelle News.com learnt exclusively that Salisu withdrew for his Vice, Hajia Motunrayo Gbadebo-Alogba, an alumnus of the Lagos State University.
Motunrayo is the daughter of the late APC Woman Leader for Lagos East Senatorial District and first Chairman of Ijede LCDA, Mrs Fausat Gbadebo
