Fatalities arising from coronavirus infection in Nigeria continue to rise as 200 people have lost their lives to the dreaded virus as at Wednesday, 20 May, 2020, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) reported this on its Twitter handle on Wednesday while giving daily update on the pandemic.
The Centre also reported that 284 new cases were reported nationwide same day with Lagos hitting record 199 cases in a single day. The total number of Covid-19 cases in Nigeria has risen to 6,677.
The Gazelle News.com reports further that Lagos, the epicentre of the pandemic in Nigeria now has 2954 cases.
