Fourteen coronavirus patients in Lagos were discharged on Monday, 4 May, 2020 after they have attained full treatment from the virus infection, The Gazelle News.com reports.
The Lagos State Ministry of Health announced this on its official Twitter handle while giving update on the pandemic in the state.
The Gazelle News.com gathered further that the patients have all tested negative twice to the virus after going through treatment at the various isolation centres in the state.
Discharged were six females and eight males, all Nigerians.
Seven of the patients from the Isolation Centre at Onikan, two from the Infectious Disease Centre in Yaba, four from the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) and one from the Landmark Isolation Centre, Eti Osa.
The number of discharged patients has thus risen to 261.
