The member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Honourable James Abiodun Faleke has described the death of All Progressives Congress (APC) Chieftain, Chief Mrs Kemi Nelson as a collosal loss to not only Lagos State but Nigeria as a whole.
Faleke described the deceased as a committed and loyal party member and complete Tinubuist who has contributed in no small measures to the development and growth of Lagos State and Nigeria.
“What a loss! Yeye Kemi Nelson was a Tinubuist to the core. She was a woman of substance. She was committed fully to the ideals of the Progressives till she breathed her last,” Faleke lamented.
According to the Chairman of the House Committee on Finance, the late former Women Leader of Lagos and Southwest chapters of APC gave her all and was in the forefront of the struggle to make Lagos State and Nigeria better.
“She was a loyalist of our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to the core. She was a complete Tinubuist, loyal and committed to the ideals and aspiration of our great leader,” the former Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation of Council Chairmen in Lagos, said.
Faleke condoled with Asiwaju Tinubu, the Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC); the state Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; his Deputy, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat; the Nelson family; the APC family and the entire people of the state.
