The need to avoid ‘promise and fail’ attitude of most politicians was the major reason Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Anifowoshe popularly called K1 De Ultimate has been running away from contesting for political office, reports The Gazelle News.com.
The Fuji musician spoke at an titled Fuji Opera which took place at Alliance Francaise, Mike Adenuga Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“I don’t want to make huge promises to the electorate and deliver little or nothing. I abhor promise and fail attitude of most Nigerian politicians.
“For me, it is wrong for one to promise heaven and earth to get the votes of the electorate only for one not to fulfil those promises citing unforseen circumstances. I can’t do that, hence, I run away from contesting for any political office,” he said.
