The race for who occupies the Chairmanship seat of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gathers momentum with the declaration of Ogboni Fouad Alade Oki to contest for the coveted seat at the state Congress of the party coming up on Saturday, 16 October, 2021, reports The Gazelle News.com.





Recalled that this medium had earlier reported that the Lagos4Lagos Movement released a 36-man list of its preferred candidates for the various offices in the state executive council of the party on Thursday, 23 September, 2021.
Recalled also that the Chairman of the state Caretaker Committee, Alhaji Ibrahim Tunde Balogun has also indicated his intention to run.
The entry of Fouad Oki to the race makes the contest an interesting one since he is coming with a vast political experience particularly at the grassroots level.
Oki is a vastly experienced politician who was Director General for the Governorship Campaign Teams for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, 2003; Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, 2007 and 2011; and Akinwunmi Ambode, 2015.
According to the letter reproduced unedited below, Fouad Oki he is bringing in his vast experience to unite the party and boost the morale of party members which he lamented has been on the lowest ebb.
