The Vice President of Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation Americas (NIDOA), South Savannah chapter, Dr Oluwatomiloba Ademokun has inaugurated  a literary platform tagged: “Wellness Wahala“ to amplify the voices of Nigerian diaspora authors.

The platform is centered on the memoir: “Wellness Wahala: Faith, fire and favour on diplomatic duty.”

Ademokun, also a distinguished Nigerian-American public health diplomat, disclosed this in a virtual interview with the journalists on Saturday, saying the memoir would be officially inaugurated on Aug. 5, 2025.

According to her, the inspirational memoir focused on gripping journey from surviving bomb blasts and bureaucratic battles to find divine restoration and purpose in life.

Ademokun said: “Proceeds from the book will be used for humanitarian interventions, including scholarships to students in Nigeria and the diaspora through NIDOA South Savannah, and the Reliable Women and Youth Empowerment Foundation.

“This literary debut is part of a larger push to amplify the voices of Nigerian diaspora authors. Whereby, NIDOA featured Ademokun as part of its Authors Unite campaign, spotlighting African writers transforming people lives through storytelling.

“The memoir was birthed in pain, refined in fire and crowned with favor. I pray it inspires a new generation of warriors to rise strong in the face of Wahala.”

She explained the book is structured on sub-themes such as Faith, highlighting spiritual endurance through delays and disappointments.

Also on fire, revealing trials diplomatic crises, illness, and betrayals; and Favor, in celebration of redemption, resilience and divine breakthroughs.

The vice-president urged persons wanting to become a Wellness Wahala Warrior to follow: @WellnessWahala on social media, pre-order or show proof of purchase of the book.

Others include tagging three friends and sharing such post using the hashtag #WellnessWahalaWarrior, as bonus through the submission of a short 30–60 seconds review video on or before July 30, 2025.
