Branch of National youth council of Nigeria ( NYCN) Kebbi state has joined prominent Nigerians to celebrate Nigeria, President Tinubu and youth minister on the occasion of Nigeria’s 65th independence celebrations.
Kebbi state , Chairman,NYCN, Ahmed Abubakar Khalifa, in a statement on Wednesday, said that Nigerians have cause to celebrate particularly youth who had it so good under the leadership of President Tinubu and his reliable luitenant the minister for youth.
He revealed that youth under Tinubu have had their voices listened by leaders through several youth friendly policies which directly or indirectly provided job opportunity saying thousands of youth in the country have giving up anti social behavior such as drugs addiction and prostitution as they have embraced farming and other hand trades for survival ” we congratulate President Tinubu and the minister of youth for their huge support to the council “.
Ahmed urged the minister for youth to sustain his efforts in the ongoing transition in the council which will usher in new leadership as they are set to massively support youth policies of Tinubu led government in Nigeria.
He revealed that, the contributions of youth to national transformation, progress and development cannot be qualified as such government at all levels are expected to take the youth to the next level by providing more coherent policies that would build the youth.
The state youth chief urged youth to use independence day period to pray for peace and unity of Nigeria.
