The Speaker of the Nigerian Youth Parliament,  Rt. Honourable (Dr.) Azeezat Yishawu has congratulated President Bola Tinubu  on his inauguration as the 16th President of the country.

Yishawu, in a statement, said: “We commend President Tinubu’s leadership and express our unwavering commitment to working collaboratively with the new administration to advance the interests and aspirations of Nigerian youth.

“The Nigerian Youth Parliament recognizes the immense potential and capabilities of our young population. We believe that their empowerment and inclusion in decision-making processes are vital for the sustainable development and progress of our great nation. We, therefore, urge the new administration to prioritize youth and women’s inclusion in all spheres of governance.

“As the voice of the Nigerian youth, we implore President Tinubu to uphold the campaign promises made during the electoral process. We call on the new government to prioritize key areas such as quality education, job creation, skills development, and entrepreneurship opportunities for our young people. By investing in these areas, we can unlock the full potential of our youth, foster innovation, and build a prosperous and inclusive Nigeria.”

She acknowledged that: “President Tinubu’s wealth of experience and visionary leadership provide a strong foundation for shaping Nigeria’s future. The Nigerian Youth Parliament stands ready to collaborate with the new administration in implementing youth-centric policies and programs. We emphasize the need for an open and inclusive government that listens to the voices, aspirations, and concerns of young Nigerians. Together, we can create a Nigeria where every young person has equal opportunities to thrive and contribute to national development.

“On this momentous occasion, we urge President Tinubu to lead with integrity, transparency, and accountability. The Nigerian Youth Parliament remains committed to working hand in hand with the government to promote good governance, peace, and unity in our beloved country.

“We once again congratulate His Excellency President Bola Tinubu on his inauguration and wish him a successful tenure.”
