The Odiolowo-Ojuwoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA), in collaboration with Speed-Up Lagos, has concluded a three-month skill acquisition programme with a departmental examination on Tuesday, 13 May, 2025.
The training covered various areas, including: Home Essentials, Make-up Techniques, Fabrics, Fashion and Souvenir Productions, Foods, Catering Techniques, and Shoe Production.

The programme coordinator, Mrs. Ajetumobi, described the initiative as successful, with the examination aimed at evaluating students’ understanding of the skills learned.
She expressed gratitude to Hon. Rasaq Olusola Ajala, Chairman of Odiolowo-Ojuwoye LCDA, and his team for their support.


Mrs. Ajetumobi also thanked Hon. Rodiat Ife Jimoh, Supervisor for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, the HOD of the department and the management and staff of the LCDA for their cooperation and support.
She prayed for God’s continued blessings on them.
The graduation ceremony for the students will showcase the products and services they have learned during the program.
The LCDA will reward outstanding students, recognizing their hard work and dedication.
The skill acquisition program is part of the LCDA’s efforts to empower residents with valuable skills, promoting economic development and self-sufficiency.
