The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has released the organisational structure of its 2027 State Campaign Council, outlining the party’s leadership hierarchy ahead of the 2027 general election.
The structure, made public at the weekend, listed former Governor Chief Olusegun Osoba as Grand Patron, with Senator Gbenga Daniel and Senator Ibikunle Amosun as Deputy Grand Patrons. Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola was designated Assistant Grand Patron, while Governor Dapo Abiodun leads the council as Chairman, alongside Senator Solomon Adeola as Co-Chairman.
Chief Bode Mustapha and Dr Sikirulahi Osundele were listed as Assistant Chairmen, while Hon. Nomiot Salako-Oyedele and Mrs Kudirat Abiodun Balogun fill the Deputy Chairmen positions. Chief Yemi Sanusi is Vice Chairman, with Apostle Abiodun Sanwo-Olu serving as Vice Director-General for Political Affairs, a schedule that includes oversight of the council’s committee chairmen.
Senator Lekan Mustapha heads the campaign as Director-General, supported by Tokunbo Talabi as Vice Director-General for Operations and Dr Isiaq Salako as Vice Director-General for Administration. Engr. Babatunde Adesina was assigned as Campaign Council Secretary, with Bolu Owotomo as Assistant Secretary.
For zonal coordination, Deputy Directors-General were posted to Ogun East, Ogun Central and Ogun West, each backed by Vice Deputy Directors-General and Assistant Directors. Beneath this tier, Directors, Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors were assigned across the state’s federal constituencies, with the structure extending further to State Constituency Coordinators, their deputies and assistants, then to Ward Mobilisers and Unit Mobilisers at the grassroots.
On finance, the document named Evangelist Sam Durojaiye to co-chair the Finance and Budget Committee. Other standing committees cover Media, Security, Strategy, Fundraising, Women Affairs, Special Duties, Transport, Reconciliation, Inter-Party Affairs, Planning, Protocol, Welfare, Public Communication, Medical, Youth Engagement, Students Engagement, Youth Mobilisation, Digital Innovation, and Traditional/Religious Affairs, each under a designated chairman.
Party sources said the structure was drawn up to guarantee representation across Ogun State’s three senatorial districts and twenty local government areas, adding that the arrangement was expected to deepen grassroots mobilisation and reinforce the party’s standing ahead of the 2027 polls.
The disclosure comes as political parties nationwide intensify efforts to reorganise their structures in readiness for the next electoral cycle.
