The Lagos State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, has commended party members, leaders, members of the Local Organising Committee, security agencies and the media over the peaceful conduct of the primary elections of the party in the state with particular reference to the presidential primary election, reports thegazellenews.com

Ojelabi spoke at the party secretariat ACME road, Ikeja during the presentation of the collated results of the presidential primary election in the state.

The collated results were formally signed and presented by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Lagos State Agent, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, in the presence of party leaders, members of the Lagos State APC Primary Election Local Organising Committee (LOC), officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies.

Speaking after the presentation, Ojelabi commended party leaders, the LOC, stakeholders, and the media team for their commitment, resilience, and professionalism throughout the primary election process.
“I thank my team who have been working tirelessly all through the processes both night and day. To the media, thank you for your robust reportage of all the election,” Ojelabi stated.

He noted that the successful conduct and collation of the presidential primary results reflected the party’s commitment to transparency, due process, accountability, and proper coordination.
The exercise formed a significant part of the APC Presidential Primaries in Lagos State, further reinforcing confidence in the party’s internal democratic process.
