The Chairman of Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, Princess Muhibat Rufai has given her achievements in office in the past 100 days, reports thegazellenews.com.
Princess Rufai who spoke at a well attended media briefing at the council secretariat in Ojo on Monday, 15 December, 2025, also spoke on the end-of-the-year activities of her administration.
Princess Rufai highlighted some of the achievements of her administration: upgrading and equipping primary health care centers at Taffi and Ajangbadi; provision of canoe for pupils in the riverine community of Taffi; provision and distribution of free GCE forms to indigent students; free ICT training for youths in the local government and provision of N100,000 cash grants to women in the local government; organised free breast cancer screening for over 500 women; started free feeding programme for pupils in public primary schools in the local government; organised the Spelling Bee competition; and polio vaccination programme for babies in the local government among others.
According to the Ojo Local Council boss, the event was not to showcase the achievements of her administration but to unveil the end-of-the-year programmes of her administration.
The programme commenced with a medical outreach on Tuesday, 16 December, 2025.
On Wednesday, 17 December, 2025, the graduation ceremony for the beneficiaries 3-week ICT practical training programmes while graduates of the Skill Acquisition programme tagged ‘Project Thank You’ will be empowered with tools and equipment.
On Thursday, 18 December, 2025, the primary health care centre at Ajangbadi in Ward C will be commissioned.
On Friday, 19 December, 2025, the commissioning team moves to Taffi community in Ward E. The primary health care center, the 6 blocks of classrooms and the canoe for the use of school pupils will all be commissioned.
Saturday, 20 December, 2025, will be for fitness walk while Monday, 22 December, 2025, has been fixed for the grand finale of the activities.
On this day, there will be distribution of bursary award to students in tertiary institutions of Ojo origin; launching of the Renewed Hope Family Support Empowerment; and launching of Small Scale Business Support Funding.
