The Governor of the State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola has congratulated an elderstateman, Dr Oluwole Alabi on the occasion of his 76th birthday anniversary.
In a statement on Wednesday, signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ismail Omipidan, the governor extoled the virtues of the former lawmaker, describing him as an accomplished medical doctor and a successful politician.
Oyetola noted that Dr. Alabi is a worthy son of the State of Osun whose contributions to the creation of the State would always be a reference point. He added that his devotion and commitment to the development of the state and the nation at large is laudable and worthy of emulation.
“Today’s occasion of your birthday gives us another opportunity to thank God for your life and to also appreciate you for your selfless service and contributions to the development of the State of Osun and its people.
“I join the rest of your family, relatives, associates, well wishers and followers to felicitate with you on your 76th birthday. You’re no doubt one of our respected elders and leaders in the State, and I pray God Almighty grant you more years in sound health to keep serving the state and humanity at large. Happy birthday, Sir,” the governor said.
