Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International, has gifted gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey a Range Rover as a 45th birthday surprise, secretly coordinating with the singer’s wife to execute a plan that Bassey said left him completely speechless.
Bassey turned 45 on Thursday, 27 August, and disclosed the gift in an Instagram post on Friday, 28 August,2026 saying he typically keeps personal matters private but chose to share this one publicly.
He revealed that Pastor Eze quietly reached out to his wife and planned the surprise without his knowledge. When his wife suggested a vehicle option, Pastor Eze rejected it and insisted on a Range Rover, saying his brother deserved nothing less than the best.
“Normally I keep things like this private, but not this one. I want to share this,” Bassey wrote. “Woke up yesterday just desiring a nice, easy day of gratitude to God. Unknown to me, my brother and friend @realjerryeze had this holy coup ongoing with my wife. Of truth, the surpriser had been surprised. He insisted on going for the very best when my wife suggested one to get. In his words, ‘My brother can’t drive that.'”
Bassey said the Range Rover is not the only act of generosity Pastor Eze has underway, disclosing that the clergyman is currently planning similar gifts for others. “The man gives like his life depends on it,” he wrote.
He expressed gratitude and made clear his affection for Pastor Eze stands entirely independent of the gift. “And I’m here to publicly say THANK YOU, PJ — You know, even if you never do this, I’d still love you the same.
Thank you, Sir. Like I told you, I am speechless. May the smile you have put on my face and my family be seen in multiple folds on you and yours, in Jesus’ name.”
He closed by urging his followers to celebrate Pastor Eze. “So please, help me thank him on my behalf. Weary him today with gratitude. Tell him his brother is grateful,” he wrote.
