According to party guidelines, the primaries will adopt an indirect system, with delegates drawn from executive members in the LGAs and LCDAs. Disqualified aspirants have until Monday, 5 May, 2025, to appeal, while post-primary petitions can be submitted between Monday, 12 May and Tuesday, 13 May, 2025.
Concerning the APC guidelines, indirect primaries—where executive members across the 20 Local Government Areas and 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) will vote—are slated for Saturday, 10 May, 2025.

He affirmed that all cleared aspirants possess the capacity to deliver quality governance at the grassroots level if elected.
