Famous Nigerian comedienne and actress, Damilola Adekoya, popularly known as Princess, has stirred public debate after she shared a candid video online in which she openly appealed to several prominent pastors to help her find a suitable life partner from within their churches.

In the video, which recently surfaced on social media, Adekoya directly mentioned well-known clerics such as Bolaji Idowu, Philip Olubakin, Jerry Eze, Joshua Selman, and Femi Lazarus.
Princess explained that she is currently single and divorced and, after years of praying, fasting, and deliberately focusing on personal healing, she now feels emotionally and spiritually prepared to take concrete steps toward marriage.

Speaking candidly, the comedienne noted that while prayers are important, they should be complemented with action.
Consequently, she called on the pastors to support their prayers by recommending kind, responsible men in their 40s or early 50s who are genuinely ready for commitment and marriage.
According to her, faith works best when it is backed by intentional effort.
Furthermore, Adekoya addressed societal attitudes toward single and divorced women, stressing that she would not allow herself to be shamed for openly expressing her desire for love and companionship.
She reportedly stated that her message was not born out of desperation but from a place of honesty, faith, and a renewed readiness to love again.
The actress emphasized that her decision to speak publicly was deliberate, adding that openness about marriage and relationships should not be taboo within faith communities.
Through her message, she presented herself as a woman who has healed, reflected, and is now confidently taking responsibility for the next chapter of her life.
