The daughter of veteran Nollywood actor, Ogogo Hassan, has appealed to Nigerians to help save her father’s life, disclosing that he has been diagnosed with stage four cancer.

She made the emotional appeal in a video shared online at the weekend, explaining that doctors had informed the family that they could no longer treat the veteran actor’s condition.

She clarified that the family was not seeking financial donations but rather genuine medical or traditional solutions that could offer her father another chance at life.

“Hello everyone, I am here for my daddy, he has cancer, it’s in stage four, the doctors are saying they can’t treat him again. Please, I am not here to beg for money, I really want to appreciate him cos he has been the one helping us and footing the bills.”

Sobbing through the appeal, she explained that her primary request was for anyone who could treat her father, whether through conventional medicine or traditional herbal remedies.

“What am here for gan gan if you can treat my daddy through medical or herbs. Ibile… Ejoooo.”

Pleading further, she disclosed that her father’s stomach had become swollen, and begged Nigerians who may know of a cure for cancer, traditional or medical, to reach out to the family.

“Ejo Ejo nitori olorun, Ema je ki daddy mi ku, any one you know who can treat cancer pls help cos my daddy stomach is swollen. My DM is open in case you have any solution,” Ogogo’s daughter cried out.

The emotional appeal has since drawn widespread attention and sympathy from Nigerians on social media, many of whom have called for support for the veteran actor, who is widely recognised for his contributions to the Yoruba movie industry over the years.

As of the time of filing this report, the family had not disclosed further details regarding the hospital handling Ogogo Hassan’s treatment, but appealed to well-meaning Nigerians with genuine treatment options to reach out through the family’s channels.
