President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Executive Director, Stakeholder Management, Communication and CSR, Airtel, Nigeria, Prince Femi Adeniran on his 50th birthday on June 1, 2026, recognising his distinguished contributions to public service, private sector leadership, investment promotion and national development.

The President joined family, friends, colleagues and associates in celebrating Prince Adeniran, a respected corporate executive, public policy advocate and investment promotion expert whose career has been marked by professionalism, courage, adaptability and an abiding commitment to Nigeria’s progress.

President Tinubu commended Prince Adeniran’s patriotism and sense of duty, particularly his willingness, at different points in his career, to step away from the comfort and stability of senior private sector leadership to serve the public interest at important moments in Nigeria’s democratic and economic evolution.

The President recalled that Prince Adeniran first demonstrated this spirit of service during the 2011 presidential election, when he served as Chief of Staff to the Vice Presidential Candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria in the 2011 Presidential Election, Dr Fola Ademola, contributing to the organisational and strategic work that helped strengthen the progressive movement.

President Tinubu further noted that, in recognition of his competence and promise as a young technocrat, Prince Adeniran was subsequently identified by a team established by him to support governance reforms and institutional efficiency, and was seconded to the Governor’s Office in Osun State between 2011 and 2014.

The President acknowledged his later stewardship as the Pioneer Chief Executive Officer of the Osun State Investment Promotion Agency from 2019 to 2022, under the administration of former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola. In that role, Prince Adeniran helped reposition the state’s investment promotion architecture, strengthened investor engagement and advanced public private collaboration for economic growth.

President Tinubu also recognised Prince Adeniran’s remarkable private sector journey, which has taken him through leading domestic and international organisations in financial services, education technology and telecommunications.

The President commended his return to executive leadership in 2023 as Executive Director, Airtel Nigeria, responsible for Stakeholder Management, Communications and CSR, where his broad cross-sector experience has continued to support constructive industry engagement, corporate leadership and dialogue between the telecommunications sector and government on the long-term sustainability, resilience and competitiveness of the industry.

President Tinubu described Prince Adeniran as a bridge builder, visionary communicator and committed patriot whose professional journey reflects the best values of private enterprise, public service and national duty.

“The President prays for Prince Femi Adeniran’s continued good health, strength, wisdom and greater accomplishments as he marks his golden jubilee and continues to contribute to Nigeria’s progress and Africa’s development,” a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, said on Sunday, 31 May, 2026.
