Billionaire singer Rihanna has broken her silence after a Los Angeles jury found her partner, A$AP Rocky, not guilty of assault with a semi automatic firearm.
The hip-hop star faced two felony counts of assault with a semi-automatic weapon, stemming from a 2021 altercation with his former childhood friend, Terell Ephron, aka A$AP Relli.

Rihanna erupted in tears as the not-guilty verdicts were read out on Tuesday, 18 February, 202 after a three-week trial.
A$AP Rocky then ran over to hug the music superstar and family members. Rocky dived and embraced his lawyer, Joe Tacopina, after the verdict was read.
“Thanks y´all for saving my life,” A$AP Rocky told the jury, which was composed of seven women and five men.
Taking to her Instagram page to celebrate, Rihanna wrote, “The glory belongs to God and God alone! Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
The rapper was facing a possible maximum sentence of 24 years.
Three-time Grammy nominee A$AP Rocky faced up to 24 years in jail if convicted in the case.
