Senator Oluremi Tinubu Lifts Women In Her Senatorial District With Empowerment

Women and the girl child in the country have been assured of quality life if the mandate to lead the nation is given to the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who represents Lagos Central Senatorial District in the Senate, gave this assurance at the distribution of empowerment and grants to women in her Senatorial District.

The project was facilitated in conjunction with the Office of the Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

She said that the initiative was to support and compliments their efforts.

Represented by Hon Wahab Alawiye-King, Senator Tinubu noted that the programme was organised in line with the Millennium Development Goals for provision of necessary materials for the women folks.

Also speaking at the event, APC Chieftain,  Prince Tajudeen Olusi described Senator Oluremi Tinubu as someone with a large heart adding that her position will be difficult to fill in the Senate.

The APC National Women Leader, Dr Betta Edu said Lagosians and women in particular should reciprocate the gesture with massive support for Asiwaju at the poll.

According to her, empowering women is a major process in building the nation.

In her welcome address, the Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, Rasheedat Abiodun Adu, said empowerment of people of Lagos Central Senatorial District has become a ritual for Senator Tinubu.

On behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Iyabo Amusan, assured of judicious use of the materials while promising massive votes for the party on February 25th, 2023.
