Sixteen year-old Nigerian winger, Seun Akanji, has joined the five-time Norwegian champions, Lillestrøm, thegazellenews.com reports
Akanji now joined his compatriot Kparobo Ariheri, who signed for Norwegian top-flight club from Remo Stars last year.

Akanji, who joined the Birds from from Nigeria National League (NNL), side, Sporting Lagos, was given a contract after impressive display during trials at the club.
The Nigerian winger received offers from a number of European clubs but decided to move to Norway.

Akanji can only become eligible to play for Lillestrøm in the summer of 2026, but they have now made a club agreement that secures his rights when he turns 18.
