Tinubu Is Destined To Take Nigeria To Promised Land – Awujale

The Paramount Ruler of Ijebu-land, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Sikiru Adetona has assured Nigerians that President Tinubu would take our long-plundered nation to the “Promised Land” of development, transformation and prosperity.

Oba Adetona disclosed this on Thursday, 29 June, 2023 at his palace in Ìjèbú Ode when President Tinubu paid him a “Thank you visit.”

Oba Awujale, who spoke glowingly of the past democratic credentials of Asiwaju Tinubu during the  struggle for the enthronement of democratic governance in the country from 1993   assured all Nigerians that President Tinubu has all it takes to fix Nigeria.

While disclosing that enemies of democratic rule in the country tagged him “Baba NADECO” at time when Asiwaju Tinubu and other leading progressive-minded Nigerian who formed the National Democratic Coalition, NADECO, to fight for the restoration of popular democracy in the country, however praised The Almighty God for granting Tinubu, a known foremost NADECO leader at the time, his dream of becoming Nigeria’s 16th President and Commander-in-Chief.

Oba Adetona, who spoke in Yoruba Language while applauding the concrete economic policies and some  appointments so far made by President Tinubu, however assured Nigerians that the President would bring the much-needed relief to soothe the attendant pains of some of the announced policies.

Those present at the occasin include Governor Dapo Abiodun, His Deputy, top functionaries of the State government and all the leading Traditional rulers from Ìjèbú East Senatorial zone of the State.

President Tinubu is also expected to depart to Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital to pay a “thank you visit” to the palace of Alake of Egbaland, Oba Arẹmu Gbadebo, after the Ìjèbú Ode visit.
