Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has announced her reconciliation with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, bringing to an end more than a decade of public feud, bitterness and prolonged estrangement.
The actress disclosed the development in an Instagram post on Saturday, 24 January,2026 where she said divine intervention and sustained prayers healed years of emotional wounds and broken communication between the former couple.
According to Dikeh, what once appeared impossible has been transformed, with peace and mutual respect replacing conflict and resentment.
She attributed the reconciliation to God’s guidance, stressing that human effort could not fix what faith, humility and prayer ultimately restored.
“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness, and pain, God stepped in,” she wrote, adding that chaos had given way to peace and anger to respect.
The actress further explained that the reconciliation was not achieved through personal strength or wisdom but through spiritual intervention, noting that pride had given way to humility and love had been restored, particularly for the sake of their child.
Dikeh also expressed appreciation to Churchill for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s leading, saying obedience played a key role in the healing process.
“I am deeply grateful to the father of my child, Dr Kunle, for yielding to God’s word and choosing peace,” she stated, describing the restoration as a product of perseverance despite years of pain.
Beyond her personal experience, the actress encouraged others facing prolonged conflict and emotional hardship not to lose hope, assuring them that restoration is possible through prayer, patience and love.
She maintained that situations that appear broken beyond repair can still be rewritten, urging people to keep trusting God even in difficult moments.
The reconciliation comes amid Dikeh’s recent public expressions of renewed faith, during which she has spoken openly about her spiritual journey and her belief that God delivered her from anger, addiction, sexual immorality and other personal struggles.
She described the restored relationship as a living testimony of divine mercy and grace, expressing hope that it would endure and inspire others facing similar challenges.
