At least six persons died instantly on the night of Friday, 9 August, 2024 as a trailer carrying sugar cane fell down on them at Amukpe roundabout in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State
The victims, who were waiting for transportation to Warri, died instantly.
As of the time of filing this report, police operatives were seen trying to forestall any breakdown of law and order along the road.
Delta State Police Command is yet to comment on the development as of the time of filing this report.
