Nigeria’s D’ Tigers dropped four places in the latest FIBA ranking released on Thursday, 15 August, 2024.
The country’s men’s basketball team slumped from 39th to 42nd position in the ranking.
The former African champions garnered 299.7 points during the month under review.
D’Tigers are currently ranked the sixth best team in Africa.
South Sudan is currently the best ranked country on the continent while Coted’Ivoire, Angola, Tunisia and Egypt complete the top five teams in Africa.
