Nollywood actress Omotunde Ogundimu has broken down in tears while appealing to Nigerians for financial assistance as she continues to battle cervical cancer, a condition she said she has battled since 2024.

Ogundimu made the emotional appeal during an interview with Biola Adebayo, which was subsequently posted on her social media page.

Speaking about the challenges she has faced during treatment, she said the therapy has left her with painful side effects.

“I have been battling cervical cancer since 2024. The treatment I received also have side effects such as my buttock hurting me when I go to urinate,” she said.

Struggling to hold back tears, the actress said she only wants to live a peaceful, healthy life free of the pain she currently endures.

“I just want to be okay. I am exhausted. I want a peaceful life,” she said.

Ogundimu, who said she is struggling to raise money for further treatment, pleaded with Nigerians to come to her aid.

“I plead with Nigerians to have mercy on me,” she said, noting that she no longer knows where to turn for financial support as her treatment continues.

“I still need to be treated. Please have mercy on me. I don’t know who to call and where to get money from again. Please just help me,” she said.
