Grief as Prof. Hadiza Usman’s Twin Daughters Die Within 48 Hours Apart

Two identical twin daughters of the Medical Director of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Nguru, Prof. Hadiza Abdullahi Usman, have died two days apart, leaving their family, friends and associates in grief.

The deceased are: Dr Hadiya Usman, also known as Hassana, and Pharm D. Aidah Usman, also known as Hussaina. Aidah died on Sunday, 4 October, 2026, 48 hours after her sister who died on Friday, 2 October, 2026.

The news has sparked grief among the family, friends and associates of the sisters. In their tributes, they prayed for Allah to forgive the deceased and grant them Aljannah Firdaus.

They also prayed that Prof. Usman and her entire family would find the strength to accept Allah’s decree wholeheartedly and remain patient.

They added a prayer for the repose of the sisters’ souls.
