The corridors of power are officially shifting to the bookshelves this weekend.

As political landscape continually evolves, business titans, royalty, and high-society heavyweights are set to converge at La Scala, Muson Centre, Lagos this Sunday, 6 September, 2026, for the highly anticipated unveiling of Seun Oloketuyi’s new book, ‘How to Win Elections in Nigeria’.

Expected to grace the high-profile launch are billionaire businessman, Chief Adebukola Kesington Adebutu; sports investor, Kunle Soname; the Elegushi of Ikate Kingdom, Kabiyesi Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi; Director-General of the National Sports Commission, Hon. Bukola Olopade; and Aare Abisoye Fagade, among other dignitaries.

The book brings together rare, unfiltered conversations with politicians who have contested elections at various levels, giving them a platform to speak candidly about their firsthand experiences and the gritty realities of seeking political office in Nigeria.

Among the high-profile contributors who bared it all are: former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello; former Abia State Governor Okezie Ikpeazu; former Cross River State Governor Donald Duke; and former Ekiti State Governor Kayode Fayemi.

Other notable voices include Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Senator Babafemi Ojudu; Senator Sharafadeen Alli; Hon. Jimi Benson; RT Hon. Moji Ojora; Hon. Shina Peller; Hon. Ayodeji Joseph; and Hon. Abdul Raheem Tunji Olawuyi.

Their contributions dissect the multifaceted beast of electoral politics, covering everything from campaign strategies, party structures, and grassroots mobilisation, to managing political relationships and navigating the unseen bottlenecks candidates encounter before they even get to the ballot.

By chronicling the triumphs and trials of those who have actually bled on the political field, the book offers readers an unprecedented, masterclass perspective on what it truly takes to seek, win, and hold political office in Africa’s largest democracy.

‘How to Win Elections in Nigeria’ will be officially launched at 2pm at La Scala Restaurant, MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
