Alimosho Local Government, under the leadership of its Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson, held a historic ceremony in honour of the workers who retired from service  between 2023 and 2025. The event, described as the first of its kind in the history of the council, brought together community leaders, management staff, family members and well-wishers to celebrate decades of dedicated service. The chairman noted that the initiative marked a new chapter in how Alimosho values and acknowledges its workforce.

In his address, the Chairman paid glowing tribute to the retirees, applauding their loyalty, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to public service. He emphasized that their contributions formed the backbone of Alimosho’s growth and administrative stability, stating that the council is stronger today because of their labour.
