As he prepares to take oath of office for a second term at the helms of Nasarawa State in few days, Governor Abdullahi Sule has been hit with another big loss – the death of Labaran Sule, his younger brother. The governor’s brother reportedly died in the early hours of on Saturday, 20 May, 2023. This comes just barely four months after the Governor lost his son.
The late brother of the 63 year old Governor has since been buried according to Islamic rites. The funeral service for the deceased took place at Gudi Emir Palace, Akwanga LGA in Nassarawa state on Saturday, 21 May, 2023.
Hassan Sule, Governor Sule’s son died on January 26, 2023, after a brief illness at the age of 36.
