The Association of Primary School Headteachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON) in Alimosho Local Government has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson.
The visit, which marks the second since the inception of his administration, was aimed at appreciating the Chairman for his unwavering support towards primary education and the welfare of teachers.

According to the spokesperson of the Forum, “The other day, we came here with our teachers from all the primary schools in Alimosho Local Government to congratulate you on your assumption of office. We presented some of our needs, and you promised to look into them immediately. Sir, may God continue to bless you and your team for your swift response and for fulfilling your promises. Today, we are here to thank you — and like Oliver Twist, we will continue to ask for more. Our pupils are deeply appreciative of your support.”

He further added, “Your dedication to public service and vision for a better future are truly inspiring. We wish you continued success and progress in your leadership journey.”
In his response, Hon. Akinpelu Ibrahim Johnson expressed his gratitude for the visit, saying, “I feel honoured receiving you and for this thoughtful gesture. God bless you all. It is our duty as a government to ensure we deliver the dividends of democracy. A serious government must take education seriously, and you can count on our administration’s continued support.”

He further remarked, “Education remains the cornerstone of any meaningful development. When we invest in our teachers and pupils, we are investing in the future of Alimosho and Lagos State at large. Our goal is to make public schools in Alimosho a model for excellence.”
