The Chairman of Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area, Honourable Jimoh Olawale Soliu, has assured incident but brilliant students in the council area of the support of his administration in their struggle to achieve their education desire, reports thegazellenews.com
Honourable Soliu gave this assurance on Wednesday, 3 September, 2025, at the council secretariat in Ijora during the distribution of free GCE forms to students in the council area.
“We will support you to achieve your aim. But you must study hard and ensure you pass the examinations. We won’t support failure,” he said.
The Apapa-Iganmu LCDA Chairman assured the beneficiaries that if they passed their GCE examinations, the council will give them free JAMB forms.
“If you pass the JAMB examinations, we will equally support you in your various tertiary institutions, with emphasis on students studying sciences,” he said.
One hundred students collected free GCE forms from Jimoh Olawale Soliu’s administration.
The beneficiaries were the successful ones during the mock examinations conducted to pick the beneficiaries from the free tutorial coaching also organised by the council.
