Militias on Thursday, 8 August, 2024 raided Ayati community in Ukum Local Government Area of Benue State killing at least 40 people. Nigeria’s hope of winning a medal at the ongoing 2024 Olympic Games has been dashed after Tobi Amusan failed to secure a place in the final of the women’s 100m hurdles.
