Dangote Refinery on Wednesday, 7 October, 2026 reduced its Automotive Gas Oil, known as diesel, gantry price to between N75 and N85 per litre
With this latest reduction, it makes the product more cheaper than imported AGO.
The refinery disclosed this through a new price template made available to its customers, start as that from Wednesday, 7 October, 2026, its diesel would be sold at N1,700 per litre, down from N1,780.
This means that the refinery cut its gantry diesel price by N80 per litre.
It was gathered that the import landing cost published by the Major Energies Marketers Association of Nigeria, MEMAN in its petroleum products price bulletin issued on October 5, 2026, showed that diesel landed at between N1,775 and N1,785 per litre.
In comparison, Dangote Refinery’s diesel is now between N75 and N85 per litre cheaper than imported diesel.
The diesel price parity comes as crude oil stood at $89 and $101 per barrel for West Texas Intermediate and Brent crude blends, respectively, at the time of reporting.
