Former Governor of Lagos and ex-Minister of Works, Power and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, SAN, on Tuesday, 5 August, 2025 visited the Lagos State Sports Commission leaving with very kind words for the Director General of the Commission, Lekan Fatodu, reports thegazellenews.com
The former Governor speaking after his visit, commended the Fatodu-led Commission for charting a progressive path for Lagos sports.
“Lagos Sports is certainly in good hands. I can feel the energy and passion to make things better,” Fashola said.
“While saluting our great strides at the Lagos State Sports Commission, Mr. Fashola also gave some invaluable insights and priceless guides that wil help accelerate the attainment of our lofty goals for sporting excellence and youth empowerment in the state.
“We are super grateful for his worthy presence and profound thoughts,” a statement from the Commission said.
